Michael "Mike" Moore, the owner of The Moore Financial Group LLC, has 30+ years of experience providing accounting, tax and payroll services for individuals and small business owners. He understands each client's unique needs and provides not only a service but a partnership. He continues to apply this philosophy to his mission of helping individuals and small businesses succeed by providing the highest quality accounting, tax and payroll services.
Mike has a wide range of educational qualifications that span accounting, financial planning and tax practice including:-
- University of California, Santa Barbara, accounting and economics degree
-Becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
-Earning the privilege of becoming an Enrolled Agent (EA), who represents taxpayers before the IRS
-Graduating from the National Tax Practice Institute
-Performing as an Expert Witness at First Circuit Court, Capital Improvement Expense
Mike also offers his expertise in service to the community. He is past president of the Hawaii Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners (now known as the Financial Planning Association), served on its board for five years and was twice voted as Outstanding Member of the Year. He served as a director of the Hawaii Society of Enrolled Agents, as treasurer and director of the Hemophilia Foundation of Hawaii, director of the Board of International Advisors of Business Network International, and a member of the Finance Committee of the Honolulu Waldorf School. Mike also served as treasurer and board member of the Friends of the Lyon Arboretum. With his passion, experience, education and expertise in all areas of financial management, Mike's partnership approach has helped many individuals and businesses succeed.
